Good Evening Mcgregory and thank you for taking the time to take this interview and tell us a little about yourself!
Q: Why did you decide to write a book Mcgregory?
A: The reason why I wrote The Spoken Truth because I wanted to share some of my experiences with the world. I write because it brings out another side of me, most people will never see, I’m so happy that I got an opportunity too.
Q: How long have you been writing?
A: I’ve been writing since I Graduated from Westchester Community College.
Q: How long did it take you to write this book?
A: The Spoken truth took me 3 to 4 years to write, I could’ve had it out earlier but they were too may distraction and so many things going in my life at those moments, but deep down inside I knew I had to finish this book no matter what, women waited for this book for years and honestly it was worth the wait. I write part-time.
Q: What do you use to write your books?
A: I normally use my iPhone.
Q: Do you structure your plots or just go with the flow?
A: I tend to structure the plots.
Q: Do you work on a set amount of words per day or does it change?
A: Typically, I work on a set amount of words per day.
Q: How would you describe your writing process Mcgregory?
A: The writing process was something I’ve enjoyed; actually, it was remarkable! It’s like going from A-Z and finishing what you’ve started. The feeling was overwhelming, it’s like falling in love.
Q: What time of the day do you find is best to write?
A: There is no given time to find the best time to start writing. I think it’s whenever that comes to mind, if it’s good enough, I’ll put it in my iPhone, so I won’t forget.
Q: Where do you draw your inspiration from?
A: The inspiration comes from so many different directions, but mostly myself, and what I went through to get to this point in my life.
Q: What draws you to this genre?
A: The topic of relationships and love is something I love talking about, and the reason why prefer to write stories because there are people around the world that can relate to them, it connects so many people and makes people come together, to share their stories as well.
Q: Which author/book would compare yours too?
A: I don’t compare myself to no other author, I compare myself to I , that makes me different from all these other authors.
Q: How many books have you written Frederique?
A: I’ve written five books so far.
Q: Have you ever written in collaboration with another author?
A: I have not collaborated with no other author.

Q: Who was the first person you showed your novel too?
A: My Brother
Q: Have you ever dedicated a book to someone?
A: Yes! the book is dedicated someone, that’s one of the reasons why I wrote The Spoken Truth because I was going through it and the best way was to write my pain on paper.
Q: How do you market your book?
A: I market my book on social media because the internet is a powerful tool. Overall, you can use to get your message across the world and reach out to new people.
Q: How do you deal with bad reviews?
A: So far I haven’t got any bad reviews from anybody yet, women love the book.
Q: Do you use an agent Frederique?
A: I did not use an agent.
Q: How much time do you devote to marketing your books?
A: A lot, Throughout the entire day, but it depends how busy I am.
Q: How do you get your book reviews/reviewed?
A: From iBooks, Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Google Play etc.
Q: Do you do all your own proofreading and editing?
A: Yes, I do proofread all the things, but Balboa Press do the editing
Q: How and where are you publishing this book?
A: The book will be published with Balboa Tree Hay House
Q: What are you reading at the moment? Which book do you have by your bed?
A: Why Men Love Bitches. Crazy love, In Love with My Best Friend, Beyond Control, About falling in love.
Q: What was the first book you ever read?
A: Kill The Mocking Bird.
Q: Who is your favourite author/book?
A: Sherry Argov.
Q: What is your favourite quote from a book?
A: “ The person you love the most, can hurt you the most”
Q: What is your favourite book to film adaptation?
A: Be careful what you wish for.
Q: Where are your favourite place to read Frederique?
A: My Favorite place to read is when I’m home.
Q: When you read do you prefer a book or a Kindle/tablet?
A: I prefer to read the book.
Q: Do you have any tips for aspiring authors?
A: I would like to tell every author out there that is currently writing a book, don’t stop, finish what you started, make sure you finish what you start!
Q: What’s coming next?
A: My next book that’s coming out this fall is for the children. It’s called Arnold & Spider, something I know the kids will love! I also have more projects planned for the near future!
